Trinidad and Tobago is poised to become the meeting capital of the Southern Caribbean.
This is the vision of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the Tourism Development Company (TDC), and the hope of all the hotels and convention centres that stand to benefit from the vast income that can be generated from such a venture.
“We already have a number of business travellers who frequent our shores. We have a strong financial and economic climate and we have the quality amenities and perfect atmosphere that are needed to have a strong standing in the meetings market,” explained TDC Marketing Manager Jason Baptiste.
