Message from the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce
The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce proudly celebrated its 128th year of distinguished service to the national business community. Since March 14th 1879, we have generated opportunities for our members to leverage shared resources, knowledge and contacts, in order to create a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.
It is our vision to be the “most vibrant, influential and authoritative organization in Trinidad and Tobago”.
We have approximately 532 members and professionals with 1,330 representatives spanning the services, import, manufacturing, export and distribution sectors. Our organisation lobbies on behalf of our members’ interests and we have alliances with the International Chamber of Commerce, International Trade Negotiations Unit, Dispute Resolution Centre, Secured Transactions Project and Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago.
The Chamber also offers an extensive portfolio of services to assist members in growing their companies including 13 vibrant, active committees, lobbying, trade facilitation/missions, market research/information, mediation/arbitration, business referrals, conference/meeting facilities, training workshops, seminars, 4 electronic newsletters, the CONTACT magazine and much more.
We are also a catalyst for positive economic growth and development along with continuous improvement in the standard of living and quality of life of our citizens.
