The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce celebrated its 130th year of distinguished service to the business community in 2009. Since March 14, 1879 we have generated opportunities for our members to leverage shared resources, knowledge and contacts in order to create a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

Our vision is to be the “most vibrant, influential and authoritative organisation in Trinidad and Tobago”. With over 553 members and 1,360 representatives spanning the services, import, manufacturing, export, and distribution sectors, our organisation lobbies on behalf of our members’ interests. We have alliances with the International Chamber of Commerce, International Trade Negotiations Unit, Dispute Resolution Centre, Secured Transactions Project and Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago.

We offer an extensive portfolio of services to assist members in growing their companies, including 13 active committees in Trinidad and five in Tobago, promoting trade facilitation/missions, market research/information, mediation/arbitration, business referrals, conference/meeting facilities, workshops, seminars, electronic newsletters, the highly acclaimed CONTACT publication and CONTACT with the Chamber radio series.
