IN 2011, the Caribbean welcomed its first low-cost airline, REDjet. Although its introduction was met with some turbulence, eventually four islands allowed the carrier to set up operation. Trinidad and Tobago is among them. It current routes include direct flights from:
• Barbados to Trinidad
• Barbados to Guyana
• Barbados to Jamaica, and
• Trinidad to Jamaica.
