Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers' Association (TTMA)
The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers' Association (TTMA) is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the interests of manufacturers in this country.
Established in 1956 and now close to 350 members strong, the TTMA is the voice of business enterprise, articulating policy, providing quality service, and contributing to sustainable economic growth and success.
The TTMA supports Four Key Pillars or strategic areas of focus:
1. Social Infrastructure - which focuses on fostering corporate social responsibility among TTMA's membership, as well as education and skills development.
2. Physical Infrastructure - which focuses on regulatory reform, port and transport logistics. The TTMA works with the relevant authorities to improve the situation at the country's ports and regulatory bodies.
3. Sustainability - which deals with issues such as inputs to manufacturing, procurement, and impediments to trade, as well as labour issues, legislation and policies that could impact on manufacturers.
4. Growth - which deals with new business, market and business development, trade support and trade agreements.
