The Energy Chamber
The Energy Chamber is the representative business association for Trinidad and Tobago's energy sector, and our vision is to be the energy services hub of Latin America and the Caribbean.
For this vision to come to fruition the Chamber has embarked on a series of initiatives aimed at improving HSE systems, competency development, and opening new markets to local energy services companies.
The National Safety Award- winning "Safe To Work" Initiative (STOW) is an HSE certification scheme to prequalify contractors for work in the energy sector. Twenty companies have been STOW certified to date.
The Chamber has also sought to promote competency development. The Energy Industry Competency Development Initiative (EICDI) will establish a Competency Assessment and Certification Framework to meet the needs of the eEnergy sector. This year our new Energy Chamber Learning Centre will also open its doors to help provide training and certification for the industry.
The Chamber will also continue to provide key information to our members and the national community through our premier annual Trinidad and Tobago Energy Conference and luncheons.
