The Association of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Companies (ATTIC) was established in 1966 to develop a robust insurance industry that would continuously meet the needs of society while making a solid contribution to the economic welfare and progress of the country.
For over forty (40) years, ATTIC has sought to successfully achieve its mandate through representation to and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure that the interests of both its members and their policy holders are well served. In so doing, ATTIC continues to be the voice of the industry and is proud of its role in critical areas such as the establishment of the Financial Services Ombudsman; the implementation of Anti-Money Laundering Policy; and the new Insurance Act.
Today, ATTIC’s membership has grown and expanded to include not only ___% of the life and general companies in the country, but also brokers, adjusters and other insurance service related parties.
Having established a Code of Ethics and guidelines for Standard Practice for its members, ATTIC is committed to the continuous evolution of the insurance industry as a successful player in both the local and regional financial services sector.
