Clico Investment Bank (CIB) began operations in 1990, and since its establishment, has been at the forefront of the financial industry in Trinidad and Tobago.

CIB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of C L Financial Limited, one of the largest conglomerates in the Caribbean, encompassing more than 65 companies operating in 26 countries worldwide.

As at December 2006, CIB's total assets stand at TT$12.2 billion, while its audited after-tax profits for 2006 stood at TT$169.9 million.
