The Beacon was selected as our logo and brand image as a constant reminder that a single beam of light can change the face of a landscape – the way we do in the insurance business. Insurance responsibility is a crucial part of our corporate goal. It is not just about strong and sustained financial performance but the delivery of efficient services.
Launched on July 1, 1996, The Beacon created an environment that was defined by industry-leading technology. This required a radical shift in thinking and the retraining of staff. This infrastructure has made it possible for our operations to process information 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
We recognise the impact of our business activities on the Caribbean society as a whole and responding accordingly is a core strategy of The Beacon.
