The Shipping Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT)
Established in 1938, the Shipping Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) is the leading maritime association in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Association engages in lobby and advocacy on behalf of its members. Membership benefits also extend to the provision of information on technical, commercial and operational issues relating to a number of activities in the industry.
The Association also provides a forum to facilitate effective networking among its members, as well as external stakeholders. The SATT’s representation on a number of governmental and non-governmental committees also positions the Association to inform and influence policy.
In addition to representing its members’ interests with the Industry’s regulators, the SATT also plays a significant role in facilitating interaction between its members and these entities.
The Association is committed to strengthening the position of its members in the marketplace and regulatory fora.
