The Myersontooth Company Ltd. (Trinidad), a local manufacturing plant and a subsidiary of The Myerson LLC in Chicago, is the only plant in the Caribbean to manufacture artificial teeth for the dental industry locally and for export to the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Asia.
The Myerson Tooth Corporation was founded in 1917 by Dr Simon Myerson, a young, practising dentist in Boston, to create artificial teeth that would simulate the appearance of natural teeth. He was joined later by his three sons, who expanded operations in 1951 to include a manufacturing plant in Laventille, Trinidad.
Remaining true to its rich heritage, Myerson
continues to be recognised as an innovative leader in the manufacture of artificial teeth and other dental devices, and as a reliable provider of excellent value and personal service. Myerson is ISO 9001 certified for quality management, ISO 13485 certified specially for quality management of medical devices, and also certified and licensed for sales in Europe and Canada.
