NIBTT – Proudly Serving for the Past 50 years:

Since 1972, the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIBTT) has been a significant organization in the social and economic landscape of Trinidad and Tobago. With 23 benefits offered, the NIBTT has provided financial support to citizens in the face of many of life’s contingencies, giving coverage to approximately 50% of the total population and servicing our customers from locations throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

With over 200,000 beneficiaries, and an annual benefit expenditure in excess of $5 billion dollars, many of our citizens depend on a NIS benefit for their economic wellbeing. The NIBTT is proud to be a consistent contributor in the lives of vulnerable persons for the past fifty (50) years and we look forward to the fulfilment of strategic and sustainable reform, ICT initiatives and other customer-focused projects to better serve the needs of all our customers.
