The Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of the largest cross-section of retailers including supermarket chains, independent supermarkets, distributors, retail food outlets and other companies nationwide.
We facilitate collaborative efforts for the sector through advocacy and vibrant representation aimed at strengthening trade for our stakeholders and improving the value that these stakeholders offer to consumers nationally.
Our objectives are:
- To offer support that empowers our stakeholders to improve their efficiencies and productivity and to offer guidance in areas such as compliance, standards and regulatory requirements. We also offer insights into international trends and changes in market conditions globally.
- To provide training opportunities for our members to ensure that they have knowledge and access to the latest technologies and systems to maintain competitiveness in a landscape of dynamic trends and innovation.
- To ensure that the public receives the most affordable pricing in retail outlets that meet the highest standards of health and safety.
