The countdown to the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG 2023) to be held from August 4th to August 11th has begun. Now that the contracts have been signed, preparations for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, which will be held in Trinidad and Tobago, can begin.

On Friday, August 26th, the Honourable Shamfa Cudjoe, Minister of Sport and Community Development; Dame Louise Martin, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation; and the head of the Trinidad and Tobago Commonwealth Games Association (TTCGA), Diane Henderson, signed the hosting agreement for T&T to host the 7th edition of the games. During the signing ceremony, the Honourable Shamfa Cudjoe said, “These games give young people a chance to show off their athletic skills and give them a place to meet new people, build new networks, and realize the full potential of sport.”
