Courts Megastore Trinidad: Unicomer Group’s Largest Retail Destination Across 20 Markets

After more than two years of planning and construction for Unicomer Group’s most ambitious retail project in the Caribbean: The Courts MegaStore – located in Barataria, San Juan is now open to the public. This flagship location is the Group’s largest retail store across its 20 markets, designed as a one-stop shop where customers can access all Courts services. Government officials, members of the business community, key project partners and some members of the Unicomer team gathered at the new store on November 19th to mark the completion of the project.
This multi-million-dollar investment (approximately $26.9 million USD) represents the first of two phases. Phase 1 is the completion of the 46,000 sq. ft. store while Phase 2 will entail the construction of the Courts Mega Plaza that will house various retail businesses. Together, these phases will create a vibrant commercial hub that expands economic activity, supports local entrepreneurship, and enhances the overall shopping experience for customers in the surrounding community.
The new Courts MegaStore is designed to redefine retail in Trinidad, combining innovation, comfort, and convenience under one roof. From cutting-edge appliances and electronics to stylish furniture, mattresses, and home décor, customers will soon enjoy access to leading global and exclusive brands such as Ashley, TCL, Mabe, Mastertech, Simmons, Sleep on IT, Quattro, RadioShack, and Landranger.
More than a store, this MegaStore represents a commitment to excellence and community. It will feature immersive experiences, including live cooking demonstrations, interactive gaming zones, and an in-store Starbucks café, alongside the traditional flexible financing options and advanced digital solutions for a seamless shopping journey.
