D’Hub Named Top 5 Finalist for WSIS Award in Enabling Environment Category

The Ministry of Digital Transformation’s key initiative, D’Hub, was shortlisted as a top 5 finalist for the prestigious World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Award in the Enabling Environment category.

This recognition goes beyond trophies. It signifies Trinidad and Tobago’s cutting-edge approach to building a strong digital environment and positions us as a leader in the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) for Development (ICT4D) sector on the global stage.

The WSIS Forum High-Level Event 2024, held over the period May 27 to 31, 2024 in Geneva Switzerland, recognized the efforts of all of the named champions. Mr. Gilbert Peterson, Chairman of the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, was present at the event to collect this prestigious award on behalf of the MDT and GoRTT.
