Our Sustainability Workshop at HADCO EXPERIENCES at Asa Wright Nature Centre took place on 17 November 2023 and we are proud to say successfully. The experience was truly unique. Let’s start with the venue: how often have you sat comfortably through a workshop with state of art technology yet surrounded by nature, cooled by natural ventilation, visited by large blue monarch and other colourful butterflies, with smells of lemongrass and delightful food and beverage service.

Our speakers: We cannot thank our presenters enough. Everyone gave generously of their time, hearts and commitment to cover the Sustainability theme including the international and EU climate action agreements and legislation, international standards for disclosures, Principles for Responsible Banking, approaches to measuring green house gas emissions, B Corp standards measuring environmental, social and governance impact toward being a benefit corporation (beyond financial benefit).

Thanks also to Smart Vibrations Limited for professional multimedia support.

Participants: All were meant to be there because they are among the forerunners in climate action. It was a long day but we heard the questions, the feedback, saw the networking and discussions and we realised and hoped we have helped to contribute to a movement towards greater sustainability in Trinidad and Tobago.

Our Gold sponsor Massy Motors Ltd. – VOLVO who showcased their eco cars. Transport is a major source of GHG emissions and therefore brands such as Volvo with their hybrid and electric cars deserve to be highlighted. Thank you for stepping in to support and we look forward to working with you through out our Sustainability Initiative.
