Female Wave of Change welcomes Nicole Joseph as Ambassador Caribbean

Female Wave of Change very excited to welcome Nicole Joseph as our Ambassador in the Caribbean, based in Trinidad Tobago. Nicole was introduced to FWoC by our Global Ambassador Jane Anyango. Nicole Joseph-Chin is a globally trained, Caribbean born Social Entrepreneur; whose innovative work in Women’s Health has permitted her to share her expertise in diverse sectors, spanning five continents since the inception of Ms. Brafit in 2002. Nicole is a Founder, Educator, Writer, Speaker, Innovator and Business Mentor who spends time empowering women both in her Social Enterprise and in diverse SME Communities in the Caribbean and Globally. Nicole was the 2011 recipient of US State Department International Visitor Leadership Program Fellowship – Women and Entrepreneurship and the 2013 recipient of Cherie Blair Foundation for Women Fellowship. In 2015 Nicole was awarded the prestigious Vital Voices – VV Lead Fellowship and in 2016 was nominated one of the Vital Voices 100 Women known as VV100 Women. Today Nicole is one of the 20 Vital Voices Global Network Leaders and participates in peer collaborations, mentoring and capacity building at the highest level globally. Her innovative work, dedicated research and solutions-development has allowed her to be awarded a 2017 Government of India Scholarship, to Hyderabad India, attending one of the Indian Government’s highest educational institutes for Government Officials and Public Servants – Administrative Staff College of India; to pursue Leadership for Private and Public Partnerships. Nicole is passionate about Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development and in 2014, spearheaded the design of a curriculum to support the local delivery of a MOOC Camps at the US Embassy in Port of Spain Trinidad – supporting local entrepreneurs. From this program, evolved the ReBoot Retreat® – weekend empowerment and capacity building retreat focused on building robust business models and tooling entrepreneurs for lessons along their journeys. Nicole continues to create and deliver inclusive educational programming, motivational presentations and empowerment programs focused on incorporating the Sustainable Development Goals in all aspects of engagement. Today her Social Innovation and Impact has allowed her to be recognized as a Global Pioneer in multidisciplinary Breast Health Education and a household name in all things comfort, confidence and empowerment – using the bra as the catalyst for Social Change. Nicole is currently engaged in accelerated capacity building programming, supported by Senior Executives at one of the world’s Fortune 50 – Health Care Corporations. In 2018, Nicole was the recipient of the AFETT – Social Entrepreneurship Award in Trinidad and Tobago during International Women’s Day and was featured in Philanthropy Today as one of the 5 reasons to Press for Progress – quoted by Lauren Moore – Vice President, Global Community Impact at Johnson and Johnson.
