First Citizens opens Financial Hub in the West

“Within the first few years of First Citizens Bank back in the 90’s the bank made a profit of 20 million dollars and that was hailed as a fantastic achievement… 30 years later the bank is making profit before tax of almost a billion dollars.” these were the words of The Honourable Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert as he shared a bit of the Group’s financial performance over the years, and offered congratulations for having lived up to expectations. He further expanded that First Citizens is committed to serving the people, including a large catchment of as many as 60,000 customers in this community.

In addressing attendees, First Citizens Group CEO Karen Darbasie stated that “by offering a financial services hub for personal, business banking and investment services, we’re doing our part to facilitate ease of access to quality services for all as we match the needs of this community”. The well-attended event also allowed First Citizens to mark the occasion with some of its customers, in the lead up to its 30th Anniversary milestone on September 13th.
The West Vale Branch, located at the Diego Martin Regional Corporation Administrative Complex, offers a range of banking and investment services, including deposits, withdrawals, loans, and other financial products and services, to meet the needs of the local community.
