GTCIC Unveils Dynamic 2024-2025 Board and Vision for Regional Growth

The Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GTCIC) is pleased to announce the election of its Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 term. The following individuals have been appointed to lead the organization’s efforts in driving business and economic development in the region:

The GTCIC remains committed to fostering a thriving business environment and is focused on the following key areas as part of its strategic vision for the upcoming term:
• Economic Growth & Innovation: Support SME growth and promote innovation through digital transformation and e-commerce, with initiatives like workshops and public-private partnerships.
• Member Services & Advocacy: Enhance services for members by lobbying for favourable policies and offering exclusive resources like legal and financial consultations.
• Sustainable & Inclusive Development: Encourage green initiatives, renewable energy, and gender equity through sustainability programs and partnerships for green financing.
• Trade & Investment Facilitation: Expand trade opportunities and investment within the region by organizing trade missions and developing business networks across the Caribbean.
• Workforce Skills & Competitiveness: Strengthen the workforce through partnerships with educational institutions, offering training in technology, AI, and business management, and creating mentorship programs for entrepreneurs.
With these objectives, the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry and Commerce aims to build a vibrant, innovative, and inclusive business environment that contributes to the sustainable development of the region.
