HSM Motors Distributes Prizes to Winners of Essay Competition at Chase Village Compound

Chase Village, Trinidad & Tobago – HSM Motors today proudly awarded prizes to the young winners of its Essay Competition, an initiative aimed at fostering creativity, critical thinking, and community awareness among students in Trinidad & Tobago. While not a formal gathering, the winners were invited to collect their prizes at the HSM Motors Compound in Chase Village at 3:00 PM, making for a memorable moment of recognition and celebration.
The essay competition, divided into two age categories – Under 12 and Ages 13-17 – attracted enthusiastic participation from students eager to voice their thoughts on crime and offer solutions to improve our current situation. CEO Mikhail Hosein explained the rationale behind choosing this theme and involving children, saying, “At HSM, it’s much more than selling vehicles. Our company strives to make a positive impact in Trinidad and Tobago. We believe that involving children in conversations about societal issues, especially crime, is essential as they are our future leaders. This competition was a way to give them a platform to share their insights and empower them to think about the changes they want to see.”
In extending the company’s gratitude to the participants, CEO Hosein shared, “We are honored to witness so many bright young minds contributing to this competition. The creativity, depth, and passion in these essays have deeply impressed us. I’d like to thank the parents and guardians who encouraged their children to take part. To the students—you are the future, and today, we celebrate your potential and vision for a better Trinidad & Tobago.”
Prizes were distributed to the top three students in each category, which included cash awards,certificates, and exclusive HSM Motors gift packages. To acknowledge the effort of all participants, each student received a certificate of participation along with a Value Optical coupon for a free eye test and a 25% discount on prescription services, reflecting HSM Motors’ appreciation for their engagement and hard work.
Although the event was simple, Mr. Hosein emphasized HSM Motors’ dedication to community engagement and youth development, stating, “This essay competition is just one of the many ways HSM Motors gives back to the community.
