Patient Connect Launches InnerSpaces: A 24/7 Mental Health Support System for Employees

In a groundbreaking step toward prioritizing employee mental health in the Caribbean, Patient Connect has officially launched InnerSpaces, a 24/7 mental health support service integrated into its popular Wellness Hub ecosystem. This new initiative was unveiled during a special webinar hosted in partnership with the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (HRMATT) in July 2025.
At the heart of InnerSpaces is Mina (Mindful Navigator) AI, a culturally intelligent virtual assistant trained with inputs from regional mental health counsellors and clinical psychologists. Mina provides employees across Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean with real-time, confidential support—bridging the gap between artificial intelligence and human care.
According to Dr. Navi Muradali, CEO of Patient Connect, “InnerSpaces is our Caribbean-developed and inspired mental health support solution for employees. It became necessary to increase access to mental health resources in light of ongoing post-pandemic challenges and today’s social and economic pressures.
