The Trinidad & Tobago Coalition of Service Industries (TTCSI) hosted a webinar entitled “The Virtual EAP”, in June 2022, presented by digital health provider Patient Connect.

Patient Connect is the largest digital health platform in the Caribbean and has onboarded dozens of local health providers including doctors, specialist doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, psychologists, yoga and reiki practitioners plus lawyers and insurance advisors. The online platform is available as a website link to anyone with access to a smartphone or device with internet, and does not require any app download or special skills.

The Virtual Employee Assistance Program (EAP) promises to bring a revolutionary change in how companies provide health and wellness services to employees. The digital platform offers care after-hours, public holidays and weekends as well as during office hours for staff requiring routine services such as doctor’s advice, mental health and substance abuse counselling, dietary consultations and much more. Traditionally, these services would have been only been accessible by physically visiting health care providers at their office during working hours.

No matter the size of your company, you can now offer your employees the Virtual EAP to provide the much-needed support during the pandemic and beyond. The service is sure to maintain workplace productivity and provide value to staff.

Additionally, the Virtual EAP service does not require companies to sign contracts or retainers but rather services can be provided on an ‘as needed” basis. All of the digital health services cost less than in-office visits and payments can be done online, via a bank transfer, or anywhere bills as paid using WiPay or Yooz. All insurance plans are accepted.

Human resource personnel can request a free demo of the Virtual EAP. Patient Connect’s Virtual EAP service can be found at www.patientconnectt.com or contacted at 685-HELP or 685-4357 or [email protected]
