TOSL Engineering Limited Announces Planned Executive Leadership Transition

TOSL Engineering Limited (TOSL) has announced a planned Executive Leadership transition as part of the Company’s long-term succession strategy, reinforcing its commitment to strong governance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Effective 1 August 2026, Mrs. Lisa Mohammed has been appointed Managing Director of TOSL Engineering Limited and TOSL Automation and Technology Limited (TATL), succeeding Mr. Ricardo Mahadeo, who will conclude his tenure as Managing Director on 31 July 2026.
Mrs. Mohammed brings more than 28 years of leadership experience within the TOSL Group, having held senior executive positions across corporate governance, internal audit, corporate services, and executive leadership. Her appointment reflects the Company’s long-standing commitment to succession planning and leadership continuity.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Emeritus, Mr. Shazan Ali, said:
“Lisa’s appointment is the result of years of careful planning and preparation. She has earned the confidence of our Board, our employees, and our clients, and I have every confidence in her ability to lead TOSL into its next chapter.”
As part of the leadership transition, Mr. W. Richard Small has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 July 2026. He will provide leadership for the Company’s day-to-day operations and business development, supporting continued growth and operational excellence across the Group.
The Board also expressed its appreciation to Mr. Ricardo Mahadeo for his more than eight years of service, during which he played a key role in strengthening operational performance, supporting the acquisition and integration of TATL, and advancing TOSL’s strategic diversification. To ensure continuity, Mr. Mahadeo will support a structured transition before serving in a Non-Executive Advisory role to the Board through the end of 2026.
For more than 44 years, TOSL Engineering Limited has delivered integrated engineering, maintenance, automation, fabrication, inspection, and industrial solutions throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. These leadership appointments will not affect clients or project partners, who will continue to receive the same high standard of service from TOSL’s experienced team.
