Nine outstanding businesses and individuals were recognised for their contributions to the business community and country. The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s (T&T Chamber) 2023 Champions of Business Awards Gala and Cocktail Reception, held on November 2 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts themed “Titans and Trailblazers” was apt, with the awards being presented in seven categories of business endeavour.

President of the T&T Chamber Kiran Maharaj in her opening address said, “Over the 144-year history (in fact on 14th March 2024 the Chamber will celebrate 145 years), the stories and journeys of our business community illustrates the heights you can reach if you dream clear enough, work hard enough, and take risks that sometimes force you to walk the edge – then your passion can pave the way for success.
