Yip Chuck named T&T Chamber President

Karen Yip Chuck, group vice-president of Republic Financial Holdings Ltd, has been appointed President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, becoming the third woman to hold the position. She takes over from Immediate Past President Sonji Pierre-Chase.

During her inaugural address, the new President said that the TT Chamber would evolve for economic survival and that it would continue to help businesses navigate disruption, manage risk, access opportunity and build resilience.

At the Chamber’s AGM on April 10, Dr. Christian Stone was also appointed Senior Vice President, Bryan Ramsumair and Jean-Paul Dookie were appointed Vice Presidents, and nine other Directors were named to the board.
